Hello!

My question is regarding my new spring cactus...I have had this plant for about 2 weeks, and although it is covered with the pink buds, they are not opening up! I was under the impression that these flowers would open on a daily basis. The cactus is in my 3 season porch sitting next to a bank of windows that allow in direct sunlight in the afternoon hours. I have been watering this plant about once every three days. Am I doing anything wrong?
