Not sure what this plant is or anything about it except that I took it from my sister so that she would not kill it two years ago and now I think I should move it out of the coffee cup it is in.
I have it on my desk at work and seems to thrive (even if I forget to water all the time) has bamboo like stalks and stems coming off of that with each stem ending in eight dark green leaves the leaves themselves are shaped sort of like long pointed ovals, although the older leaves at the bottom are rounded out. i have pics and if you e-mail me at

please help with some advice because the leaves are starting to yellow and I pluck them off but I think she just needs a bigger pot.
