We received this plant as a gift, and I'm trying to identify so I know how I should care for it. Any help would be awesome!! Not the greatest pictures, but the plant is currently about 2.5-3 ft tall.

Although I have never, that I remember, seen a veragated one, as I'm sure you have been informed this is a Shefalira. (Sorry, I'm not a great speller.) I have several now. I started with only 1. I learned how to cut and start new ones off my original plant. I do not keep mine in the window, they do very nicely with indirect lighting as well.

Saw the reply - the correct spelling is SCHEFFLERA, and it is a variety of that family.
