Please help me identify this stinky plant Options

I just noticed this plant growing in my front yard landscaping. It is colored like the inside of a watermelon, is fist sized and is spongy. It smells like rotting food and there are flies all over it. Any idea what it is?

I looked and looked, closest I can think of is maybe a pink or flamingo oyster mushroom? Those are described as smelling like a wet dog.
