Yesterday I was on a website, unfortunately I can't find it now even though I know I saved it! But in it it said that Boston Ferns can be fed with Epsom Salts. I know I was reading about Boston Ferns but I also have 2 Parlor Palms that has leaves turning brown, maybe I was reading on that plant. Has anyone ever heard of feeding with Epsom Salts?

Epsom salts is magnesium a minor element in fertilizer. For parlor palms try 1/2 cup of epsom salts to gallon of water, water 2 times a year. Spray the folage with a mixture of 1 tablespoon per gallon of water to reduce yellowing. As for the Boston ferns a little magnesium probably wouldn't hurt, but I would go with the foliar spray for them, maybe on just one or two plants to begin with to see what happens.
