I hope someone can help. I purchased a Bromeliad during this summer. It flowered one flower (sometimes 2 - one on each side) at a time. When it stopped flowering I eventually cut the middle away. Now I can see I what I believe are two pups growing inside the plant (not outside, around it). How do I remove them from the parent plant - or should I just leave them? I can send pics - if only I knew how to upload them. Thanks,

Here is a good article about removing pups from bromeliads, and will answer your question. http://ezinearticles.com/?Separating-Pups-of-Bromeliad---Reblooming-Bromeliads&id=350523
