Hi. I have a amarillas growing outside in northeastern Wyoming. I planted it outside in May..It has two blossoms and one bloomed today. Has anyone ever heard of this before. We have about a three month growing season. 75ish in the day and about 50's at night. Has anyone had one grow outside? Does this happen often? Have pics (white blossom). Thanks

Actually it is recommended to place the bulb outside during the spring/summer, but it does need to be brought inside before the threat of frost. To read more about the care of a amaryllis, go to the following link: http://www.earlmay.com/pamphlets/pdfdocs/905190_amaryllis.pdf
