My mother received this plant when she was in the hospital. She really likes it and I would love to get her some more. Anything for Mom, Right?
I am just not sure the name of the plant I have been caring for. I think it is in the violet family. Any Ideas?

I agree, Moms are great! The plant in the photo is not an African violet but it's in the same family, the Gesneriads. It is actually a Gloxinia (Sinningia speciosa). Do get your Mom some more. She'll love them. They come in such lovely colours and are easy to grow too.
