My husband was given a plant several years ago, it is now brushing the cealing...I just call it the corn plant, but what is it realy???It has a green cane like stock and the leaves look like corn leaves. I need to know what to do with is...can i just cut it off and reroot it???

Dracaena is a very hardy plant , you can prune it , cut it in half and it will grow better then ever.I have them growing 20 ft tall ,I cut them down to 2 ft high every 2 years .but I live in the tropics.Wompoo.
