Hi fellow gardeners!

I have a question... I am installing a living wall (tropical plants growing vertically on a wall) in my apartment and I would like to both illuminate it (to show it off) and give the plants extra light (it is on a dark north facing wall). I don't want to have the typical ugly hydroponic lights but more of a compact but strong beam illuminating the whole wall. Does anyone either use of know of someone who uses metal halide flood bulbs (Par 30 or 38) for growing plants? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks and happy gardening! :)
