Hello everyone. I'm new to these forums, so I thought that I'd drop in to say "hi". I've never really grown a lot of plants until recently. My husband and I moved to a new house and I bought a couple of plants for it. It has taken off from there. My dining room no longer exists. The table was moved out to make room for more plants. My husband has taken a real liking to the plants and is continually buying new ones. Luckily the ones that give me problems, he does quite well with, so my dining room has now turned into an arboretum.

You did'nt need a dining room table anyway , plants are more pleasurable.

Hello I am new and having a problem finding how to enter the right area so hope you will be understanding and help me. I am in FL for the winter months in a rv. Our daughter gave me a beautiful Amarylis that has started to bloom. The first stem has two beautiful flowers in full bloom. The second stem has four smaller buds getting ready to bloom. It has a flower that is cream with light green veining and the outer edges are either pink or light coral. I have not had one of these plants and this one is in a small pot and the bulb which is quite large and half exposed. When the flowers are gone should I repot it or does it like to be pot bound? It is still in the pot it was shipped to me in and we will be returning to Vt for four months so I would think I should take this with us since it is so hope here in the summer. Any suggestions I would love to hear from you.
Thanks
