we have a tree (i think it's a hawthorne tree) out front that produces red berries in the winter that fall onto the sidewalk, get stepped on and get tracked in the house. Is there a chemical to buy to slow down or eliminate the fruit from producing?

Hey emptysky,

I wouldn't think it a good idea to mess with a plants growing cycle. My suggestions would be to sweep the sidewalk once the berries start falling in the winter or to have a no shoes policy past your entry way...

Hope it helps!
