Hi gardeners! This may be a wierd question... I broke my ankle, had surgery and have a prescription for .09% Sodium Chloride irrigation for the cuts from the operation to keep the wound clean from infection. I have many bottles left. Would this water be OK to water my indoor plants with? I have a lot left over and the bottles are perfect to use. Thanks, Ken

Don't use that water for your houseplants. I think you will risk killing them as that is brackish salt water similar to what you would find in the upper portions of an estuary. It is low salt concentrations but plants still need to be adapted to it and I would think most houseplants won't be. You might try it as a weed killer. Just pour some on weeds in between cracks of your sidewalk and see if it kills them. It might not work especially if it rains but hey what the heck. If you don't have any other use for the water then maybe the experiment will be a little fun. Take it easy
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
