I got a couple of slips from my mom a couple of months ago, they had good roots started in water. I planted them in some good household plant soil, with some gravel in the bottom for drainage... What are some possibilities? Sorry for the crappy pictures!

I see that you posted this months ago but I thought I would reply anyway. I've had the same problem with the Pothos. I've found that when they're left in water for an extended period of time they don't go back to soil very well. I found that if I leave them in water just until little roots form, 1/4 to 1/2 inch, they'll take better to the soil. When the root system was larger, they died. I would also suggest using a nitrogen based fertilizer to help the roots get going once you transfer the plant to the soil. Hope this wasn't too late and you're able to save your baby!!!
