I have a Northern facing apartment with very little sunlight and I have several plants that require bright but indirect sunlight. Is there a way I can provide them with the light they need without moving to a new apartment? Help -- seriously.

Perhaps I can Help. I have lived in SO many apartments with a great variety of available lighting and have dealt with your particular scenario first hand. I have used a spot light type lamp with a full spectrum "grow n show" bulb with great success. Usually you only need a couple of hours or so of added light. You will have to figure duration of use and placement of your light according to the needs of your plants and the layout of your apartment. Good luck.....ol' hippie chick

I also live in a room with very little sunlight. I use a basic full spectrum lightbulb in my lamps and just turn them on once a day for a bit. They seem to work well and you won't have to fuss with special lights. It also helps some with SAD in the winter....greetings from vermont.

Does anyone know how much electricity these lights use?
