I am a new gardner and i spent 3 hours making my own grow bed in the soil, this morning i was chatting to a tree surgeon who was working on my nextdoor neighbours garden and he had noticed my veg plot was only two feet away from the tree that was in my garden, not sure what type of tree it is but he advised me to abolosih my veg plot and start somewhere else because of the toxins in the tree can be very harmfull, he advised me to look up on it online so here i am . I dont want to end up poisining my family so i would be very greatfull for any help and advice. Veg that im growing is radishes, onions & spring onions.

The only thing near a tree is, whatever you pour to your veg garden will be fully absorbed by the nearby tree and that trees shade will not allow any plant to grow, since the shade will not allow enough growth to the plant. Successful Organic Gardening
