Hello All!

We have a horrible infestation of bugs in ALL our houseplants. I have searched and searched for these bugs but to no avail. We have tried the soap method to get rid of them. We have tried one pesticide and also allowing the soil to completely dry out. Nothing works.

I apologize for the quality or closeness of the photos. These pests are so tiny and even with my expensive nice digital camera I can't get a "great" photo. If I would say size I'd guess they are 1/16mm and no bigger. I watched them with a magnifying glass and if you touch the soil they really come out. They have balls of white tiny eggs. They are in and around the roots and the plants are either not growing or all out dying. PLEASE HELP!!! Oh, the 3rd photo is the best in my opinion!

Hello again. I have posted on another site as well (not as good as this one seems to be). Someone said "Are they spider mites?". I don't know. What do you think? They have 6 legs. I at first thought ground fleas (we figured out they came in a bag of soil we bought at a gardening center!). I don't think they are ground fleas as they have no protection. If you so much as touch one they are smashed. That's funny considering we can't get them gone. The soapy water mixture doesn't do it. We have a permethrin pesticide by Bonide which didn't do anything. We let the soil dry out between waterings and NOTHING! It is entirely frustrating.

Please someone help.
