I've been trying to grow some black batplants, Tacca chantrieri, I ordered from a seed catalogue. On the second try of growing these seeds, a single seedling appeared. I've been caring for it, in the hope that it will grow into a batplant, but I'm not sure if it isn't actually a weed.

I've heard it's not unusual for only a few seedling to appear in any batplant batch, and I haven't been able to find any pictures of seedling online.

To make things more difficult, the seedling is fairly nondescript. But I'm hoping someone here can help. Thanks in advance.

Yes, sadly, it is beginning to look more like grass than anything else now. Thank your greatly for your help.

...On the plus side, it seems to be extrememly healthy grass. I might plant it out on the lawn.
