my jade plant isn't doing so well. i did some research and decided the culprit was a so-called 'rust left'? something to that tune. so i decided to get a multi-purpose spray and i've been using that 3 times a day and after reading more, i've seen that jades are very sensitive to pesticides so i've probably been doing more harm than go at this point. i also thought it might've been that my jade needed to be transplanted so i put it into a larger pot with no regard for what kind of soil to use.

if you haven't guessed by now, i have no idea what i'm doing with plants. i'm trying to not let my jade die because of the sentimental value that it holds so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i don't know what's wrong with it yet. i used to live out in new mexico and it was doing fine out there, i kept it outside and the leaves were a very bright green with a lot of red around the edges. i moved about a month ago to arizona and it's been all downhill ever since. the spotting has been getting worse and on top of the withering, it seems like something's been eating at the leafs as well. any ideas?
