Hello ^^ I recently bought some plants at a home depot, none of them had any identification >_< don't really see why they wouldn't put something on it besides price stickers, but oh well. Hope you guys can help. :) Just the 4 up front, I know the one in the back is a devils Ivy. (Been growing it for about a year now, going to grow it along the corners of my room!

The photo is a little blurry, sorry. If you need a clearer picture let me know! My Plants! Thanks in advance :)

Hey,

Erm, yeah, a clearer picture would help, I think. Maybe separate photos?

Lol, always blame the camera! Alright, the first one has me stumped, sorry. The second I know and can't think of - my brain is great for doing that! The third looks like a pittosporum, there's loads in that family and the spread of the leaves looks right. If it is a pittosporum, they can grow pretty big. The fourth looks like one of the spathiphyllum family, but I'm not 100% sure. If it grows white flowers, then I'd say it was one of those. Best thing to do is check on the net.

I hope that helps a little, sorry I can't be of more use!

Thanks both of you! Alright the ponytail palm is identified! I'm actually having problems looking up on pittosporums, i don't know if wiki is the best place for that kind of stuff, most of that family had no images or were stubs. Does anyone know of another site I could use? As for the spathiphyllum, I thiinkk you might have the wrong plant, the fourth one looks a lot different than anything I could find :P Thank you both very much for your input!

Yeah, the fourth I wasn't sure about. It looks similar to a spathiphyllum, but obviously it isn't, ah well!

Try images.google.com to look for pictures of pittosporum. Houseplants aren't my speciality, I'm afraid!

no problem on the umbrella tree.

just did a little book looking on the other two and this is what i came up with...

1: "China Doll" Radermachera sinica
4: "Palm Grass" Setaria palmifolia

hope that helps,

Hey thanks again for helping me! 1 is confirmed to be the china doll, that only leaves number 4, i looked around and the palm grass was close to the ground and had many leaves on each stalk so i don't think its that, this one strictly have 2 per stalk, making a V. I'mma look around in their species though and see what i can find :)

thanks everyone for you help ^^ if you got an idea on what #4 is lemme know :)
