I am having problems with my rhubarb. It came up this spring fine and we picked a little from the 3 plants. (I believe there are 3 varieties) Then the leaves just started wilting and dying as they got to any size at all. One plant is now dead, One has only many small stalks, and one has only a few medium sized stalks. We have not been able to harvest any more. They have been there a few years. We have never split them.

We've had a lot of rain, and they are at the lowest level of the garden. A lot of rain water goes through the garden from the pasture behind us, but it doesn't stand around the plants for more than a couple of hours after the rain stops.

Anyone have any ideas?
