Hello there, to be honest i am very inexperienced with plant care. After moving into a new house which i am renting, the owner has informed that there is a plant there which has been with her for 17 years! Despite this, it is looking a bit worse for wear! It has about 15 long leaves coming from the stalk, about 10 of which i would say are brown, the others are green. I was wondering what i could do to help make them all green again and the plant healthy again!

Obviously i guess all of this isnt much help for you! As i am not at home and i am no plant expert i cant give you too many details. By Thursday i can post some more information (like the name of the plant etc. and some pictures) but i was wondering if there was anything you experts could think of!
