I just took my golden pothos down to water it and I noticed that there is some sort of mould or fungi growing on the plant's soil. I assume I over watered it and probably made it worse with the low temperature and light conditions in my house. Needless to say, I didn't water it. The only thing is, I don't know how to get rid of the mould/fungi. It must not have been on the soil for very long because the plant looks healthy and there is nothing growing on the stems or the leaves. Does anyone know what it is and how I could get rid of it? Should I repot the plant or water it with some sort of fungus killing solution? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Here's a few pictures: http://img69.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=dscn1089.jpg

Hi Were you able to find out how to get rid of the fungus? I have same plant and it has similar problem. Howver;the fungus is not visible on the surface. It is the root and stem (close to the base) that is kind of rotten. The plant looks very healthy, but I noticed that it stopped growing. It has some buds that never opened. I lightly touched one leaf to inspect if there is any insect and it simply fell off. I noticed some kind of small flies around the plant. Any idea what to do? Thanks in advance.
