Hi everyone,
My fiance and her brothers recently lost their father to a sudden illness. As a way to remember their father (who was a professional landscaper and loved plants and other things like that) they want to get 3 of the same indoor plant that they can keep and grow and nuture for a while to sort of give them peace.
My question is what is a good plant for something like this? I guess we want something that is long living but not really a showy, flowery plant. My thoughts were to like a philodendron (sp?) or something like that?

Any thoughts? Please let me know, your response is greatly appreciated.
