i had bought this plant called "purple passion" at walmart today. and unfortunately it is way too cold outside to let this plant grow. and since i dont really have a good light source from my window i was wondering if i can get a florescent light to grow it indoor. also, do i need nutrients to make the plant look better when its fully grown?

what soil do i use, and must i transplant to a bigger pot? please help!!

i do not know much about all the question you asked... but i can answer about the florescent light as i did that experience few years ago and what i found was that plant do have some growth in florescent light too...but yet you cant compare it with sunlight surely..actually i think that plant needs light irrespective of the source and some room according to its size in order to expand
