This is
Zamioculcas zamiifolia, and what you're seeing are no pods but the flowers - flowers in the
Araceae (Arum family) look like that.
If you're concerned about it being poisonous, well - the bad news is that pretty much all the plants in the Arum family are poisonous, and some pretty strongly, too. The good news is, if none of your animals have tried to eat the plant/gotten sick from it before now, I don't think they'd start now just because it's flowering. :)
