Hey, I've been taking care of this peace lily for maybe a year or two. It was a gift, but many of the flowers died when I took it home and for the longest time, there were no flowers. A few weeks ago, a new flower came up and I was really happy about that, shows I must be doing something right.

Anyway, I have a few concerns with a few pictures. Basically, most of the older leaves are browning and dry at the tips, and the newer ones seem to be moving in that direction.

I've only recently started misting the plant after that flower came out, and I make sure that the leaves don't drop too low before every watering.

Is my peace lily fine?

The leaf that is yellowing is situated away from the sunlight, towards the kitchen.

Anything to worried about?

Awww, you have a flower! I moved mine downstairs & its still mad at me.
The tips of mine started browning as well. We have really hard, icky water here, so I started filling a big vase with tap water & letting it set out for 24 hours or more, then putting it into a gallon container. Using that water has helped alot. But I still get a little browning. I go in with scissors and snip the brown off in the shape of the leaf. Cut the yellow off at the dirtline.
I am no expert but know peace lilys like bright indirect light. And steady watering, when the soil is not not quite dry but not wet either. I mist as well with the water I let set out.
I hope this helps a little. And again, congrats on the flower!!

Leo,

The photo is not clear, but it looks like the pot may be too big. The leaves are somewhat wilted looking and that is a more important symptom than the brown leaf tips and edges. If the leaves do not perk up when the soil is moist then, root rot or inadequate light are the likely causes. Root rot is very common with plants that are in pots that are too big.

New York City water is fine, so that is not the problem.

Peace lilies flower sporadically, including sometimes when they are under stress. So, unfortunately, the flower is not necessarily an indication that your Peace Lily is okay.

Misting is irrelevant. It is neither the cause of the problem, nor the cure.

The pot is 7" by 7" and 5.5" deep. I thought the leafs looked fine, can you show me a picture of how they should look like when the soil is moist?
