Hi, I just purchased a hibiscus copa and immediately transplanted it to a slightly larger pot when I got home. I used universal top soil to fill in the extra space. I live in a very dry climate and water the plant every other day.

Well, the plant has been getting steadily weaker every day with more and more yellow leaves. Today, the entire plant looks droopy and the majority of the leaves are threatening to turn yellow.

Basically, the plant is dying. Maybe I used the wrong soil? Should I put it back in it's original pot until it strengthens?

any suggestions? thanks....
