Resembles the "fiddle leaf fig" perhaps?

I've absolutely no idea what this might be (and no time to look through my books, either), but it's neither a croton nor a fiddle-leaf fig.

Hah - I believe I've found it! Got to work today, went about my business watering the houseplants in the shop (I work at a nursery), and stopped to stare at the two newish plants in the corner - 'Didn't somebody just ask about this?!' Anyway, I'm reasonably certain now this is Shield Aralia (Polyscias scutellaria).
