Could someone please tell me what this is and if there's any chance of saving it? It's gone without water for some time but still has a little life left on the top...
More than anything, though, please tell me what it is.

Location: Ankeny, Iowa
Appears to be either a Cordyline or Dracenea. Both are very hardy plants and should come out of it with some care.
