Hello! I am so new at gardening that all I have is a Devil's Ivy that my Mom gave to me. For it, all I do is water it and mist it, usually. And only yesterday I started misting it. I have no yard to grow plants outdoors, so I have become an indoor plant fanatic. I hope to grow cherry tomatoes when it gets warmer and I actually get seeds or something. Hey, I never thought! Can you even buy packets of cherry tomato seeds at grocery stores? I've just always assumed that you could. Anyway, I'm writing to give a big "hello, welcome me gloriously!" to all of you who have already been on Plant Care for some time. Thank you for reading this nattering post/topic/thingy, I am GardenWolf, and have a good day.

Depends on the Grocery store for the seeds. The 2 best cherry tomatoes, IMO, is sweet 100 and Super Sweet 100. If the groceries stores don't I would recommend going to a local nursery, they should definately have some.

I ask these questions as a sponge; I wish to learn as much as I can before growing tomatoes in my home.
I have researched cherry tomatoes and found some promising kinds for me to consider: Minimato, Tiny Tim, and Sweet Million. I think that Tiny Tim would be best; my Mom recommends them, too.
What is the minimum size pot for Tiny Tim tomatoes in bush form?
Thanks.

As for Tiny Tim Tomatoes, growing them in either a 1 gallon post will be fine to grow them in. The only thing about Tiny Tim Tomatoes is that they do have a thick skin, which many don't mind. The flavore is good at first but seems to lesses the longer the fruit produces fruit. As for the mini million, I am un for sure of that variety. I have heard of sweet million tomatoes

No, not "mini million", I said "minimato"! It's a brand name, I think.

minimato will only need a gallon size pot to grow.

Thanks, but I think I'll grow Tiny Tims. Tried and true is better than new. New to me and those I know, that is. My Mom has grown Tiny Tims before, but she lost the seeds she kept. I think I know a store nearby where I can get some.
I also want to grow Lemon Balm, but that may not be as soon. I don't know. I'll have to do some research on it.
This case has been solved! Thank you, JustMe, for your help!
