I love my string of pearls! Ive read anything I can about them to keep them healthy.
A couple books I have say to give them 2-4hours direct sunlight, I do. Water every couple weeks, when they start to look shrivled, I do.
This morning I noticed that there were a few strands that were dark dark green, not the healthy green.
Im panicking!! Whats wrong???
Thanks,
Debbie

Don't wait until it shrivels/wilts to water it. Water it before it begins to wilt/droop. Wait until the soil dries to about 1/3 of the way down the pot, then water. As well, make sure the water is draining. If it sits in its own water, it can die, so well-draining soil with a hole in the bottom of the pot is a must. Most plants won't tolerate direct sunlight, however, string of pearls kind of will. So it should be either in a south facing window with some kind of cloth over it, or a west or east facing window. 2 hours probably isn't enough light. It's happiest with 4+ hours of medium-bright light.
