Do you mean gloxinia?-The plant with fuzzy leaves and large tubular flowers? It is a lovely indoor plant in the gesneriad family and loves bright, indirect light, warmth and humidity. After a long period of bloom it will go dormant. Many times it is tossed at this time, but occasionally I have gotten it to come back after resting it for 6-8 weeks in a dark area. Keep the soil on the dry side, but not totally dry.

Can the Gloxemia be cut like the Ivy and placed in water and roots form? My Gloxemia is growing long stems like the Ivy.
It has only bloomed once.
