I need to know how to care for a Peace Lily?

I have a peace lily given as a christmas gift last year (2003).
I have just put it into soil this past weekend after it was in water for the past year with a fish.
What is necessary for the care of this plant in soil now? It is very healthy, with lots of little shoots coming out of the center, but no blooms. I want it to bloom, and I don't want to kill it. My house gets minimal sunlight.
Please advise. Thanks
