How do I care for thia plant? The leaves on mine have fallen to the ground. I have watered about every other day, tried putting it on the porch...nothing has worked. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I got the plant at my Grandfather's funeral and would really like to keep it alive.

Thanks!

Your Spathiphyllum or Peace lily is a low to med light plant. Your defiantly overwatering it. I would check the roots for rot and cut off only the effected ones which would be mushy. Let the soil (almost dry out) before watering again, but don't let it completly dry out. The soil should not feel overly wet either. Water once a week, sometimes waiting a little longer may be needed before watering. Empty the tray so it's not sitting in water. Keep your plant away from direct hot afternoon sun or the leaves will burn. You could place it off to the side of a sunny window, or directly in a north window or even an east window that gets some morning sun would be alright.

Hi all,

I'm aware of this plant doesn't like much water and sun. So I kept it away from sun and water once a week. However I notice that most of leaf end are dry out in brown color. Why is that? Thanks
