I just repotted a plant, which unfortunately (due to my lack of green kowledge) I have no idea what type it is. Anyway, it was dying because it had outgrown its pot. I have now put it in a bigger ceramic pot. Since then I am now getting a white fungus (or something) growing on the exterior of the pot. It looks like a network of little dashes (kind of like a spider web), it is stuck to the pot and does not come off easily. It is very dry and rough in texture. Do you have any idea what it is? Do I need to be concerned?
