I recently bought a house plant from Wal-Mart. Now the instructions say not to put it in direct sunlight and to water it every 3-5 days. I've re-planted it in a pot but some of the leaves are turning yellow,just the ones at the bottom, I feel that I might be giving it too much water. How much water should I be giving my plant?

Does singing to your plant really help it grow?
