I reside in Japan, and not knowing the local language I hardly ever know what type of plant I'm buying unless I've seen it in the States. I recently bought a plant, it looks as if it can be manipulated as a bonsai tree. It has brown,twig-like branches with small, bright red blossoms that cling very close to the branches. I believe I've seen it used in Japanese flower arranging...it almost looks like a very small cherry blossom twig, but with red flowers. The flowers have all fallen off, and now long green stems are growing out of the dirt base. I have no idea how to take care of this plant - anyone know what it is?
