Hello,
I recently purchased a bonsai (san jose juniper) tree from a local grower, and found that it was infested with bugs. There were insects that looked like aphids, and some that looked like little ticks or beetles. This plant was purchased in the Sacramento, CA area. Should I be worried about ticks, or is this another type of insect, most likely? It was greyish brown with a roundish fat body and a small round head. It also looked a little furry. What insecticide should I use? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
