I need to know how to care for the peace lilly. I either over water or underwater usually. I would appreciate the help. Thank you.

These are the easiest to care for. They need medium to low light and they like moist soil. The BEST thing to do for you peace lilly, is wait until the leaves droop, then water them. This will not hurt them and will keep them looking very green. If you keep it in something to where all of the water doesn't drain it will help. I used to put some ice cubes in mine every night but it's really a pain to do that. Just wait until the plant droops and water it then. Keep it out of direct sun, it will burn. I have two and care for them this way. I was told to do this by a florist.

My peace lily should be blooming this month, shouldn't it? I feel that I just have a big green plant in my living room that doesn't want to flower. How can I assist my plant?

You have watered the plant too much. The stems will probably break off down close to the dirt. Do not water the plant and see if it will dry out. Don't place it in the sun to dry though, the sun will burn it up. I had this happen to mine, and it didn't make it.

My mother has been caring for my large peace lilly for a few months because it was too cold in ohio to transport it to my home. I brought it home a few weeks ago and repotted it because it had outgrown the pot. A week ago one leaf turned yellow and now several more are turning yellow. It's in indirect sun and I water it every three days like my mom did. I mist it also, daily. It bloomed at her house and then the blooms went away. The bloom sprouts turned brown after the bloom were gone. The two sproutslooked ugly so I cut them. Was that the lifeline to my peace lilly. The continual yellow leaves aren't a good sign, I know. I have always had a green thumb until now... HELP!!!!
