I have a problem with little fly like nats in my house plants....
I'm not sure why they keep coming in infesting my plants. I have to be careful what i use to kill them. because I have a little four pound dog. and dont want him to get into anything that would harm him........please help....Tami

Tami, the section called 'Search' is where you need to be. Enter 'Gnats' and you will find many replies to this question. Derekr

Tammi,

I dilute my water with a drop or two of dishwashing liquid before I water my plants. This is supposed to kill the eggs that hatch in the potting soil. It's also harmless to the plant and your dog. You should do this everytime you water your plants.
