I need the correct name for a plant. It is called, I think,
rodium, irrodium or rhodium. It has pink flowers and is a house plant. Thanks.

Hi Mary Ann,

It might be a Rhododendron...its common name is an Azalea.

went on a wildflower hike last week on fort ord on monterey county calif. guides called a small pink/orange flower irrodium [that's the way it sounded]. very widespread.

the name of the wildflower growing in fort ord is erodium, a member of the geranium family. found it on page 169 in the latest mary ann matthews field guide to 'flowering plants of monterey county'
