I noticed one of my houseplants had caught spider mites and was pretty well gone by the time i realized it. I thought maybe if i misted an everyday ammonia-water solution on my other plants, possibly i could deter or kill anything that may have leaped over. Does anyone know if this will work?

It might, but a dilute soap and water spray applied each three days to every square millimeter of the plant surface would be better. Derek

Try a dilute soap and water spray applied each three days to every square millimeter of the plant surface.Turn your plant upside down and dunk the whole aboveground part in a bucket of dilute suds if that is possible for your plants. You would do this three times, and then watch very carefully for any signs of new activity. I have to warn you that this will be a very difficult problem to cure. Derek
