how long can a peace lily stay outside for.

Dear Evelyn,
My large peace lily stays "on vacation , porch" till just about now...I live in New England and the nights are dropping into the high 40,s and low 50's....I just brought mine in and put it in its usual place in a low light window...for the winter. Remove (pull) all dead leaves from plant before bringing it in to "tidy-up"...Best, Carol
