Hi,
I tried looking for this plant in the database and could not find it. As far as I know, it is just called a decorative red pepper plant and is growing tiny (about 1 1/2")peppers. I wanted to know if the peppers are edible or not. I had broken one open and it does have regular seeds like any other pepper, and the juice that came from it was very hot (I tried it out of curiousity!). I have no idea if they are suitable for normal use. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

I guess they are "edible" but no they are not normally used for anything, one of my old horitculture teachers used to eat them, I think theyre too hard and they hurt my mouth.. lol. Other than that they will not kill you.

I water mine just like my other plants, just when the soil is dry to touch. It's doing jsut fine and has begun sprouting lots of new peppers.

Do I remove the striveled peppers? Should they be pulled or cut? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Sheri
