I just bought a plant that has large green leaves with yellow and red lines. I am not sure what the name of it is. I know it needs a warm climate and can only survive inside if the climate is cold. It grows quite large. I had one years ago and cannot remeber the name of it.

What is your question? Is it the name that you want? try the pictures of Cordyline fruticosa (ignore the larf colors, just look at shape). This is my only guess on what you have told us. Derek p.s. Why didn't you get the name when you bought it? Why did you buy from a place that did not give the name and care instructions? BOYCOTT THESE PLACES. There are plenty of good garden shops around.
