Dear Dennis,

I have wintered over pointsettas every once in a while...usually, I cut them back and repot if needed and bring them in a room which does not have electric light during the most of the evening....and in a sunny window during the day. They must receive no light during the night hours, and if you can deal with the size of the plant you have, the better for flowering....however, I have found the blooms (leaves) to not be many and sometimes not a true color from when you first bought it in bloom...don,t understand that....so if you are planning on it for Xmas to be like you originally bought it in bloom, you may be disappointed and will look for new ones come Dec. to grace your home.
