I recieved a very large house plant as a gift called "Mass Cane". There were no care instructions, and now, about 2 months later the tips of the leaves are turning brown.

If its a mass cane that has the lighter leafs it needs quite a bit of light and not too much water. I would water once every other week or check the soil for dampness and water when dry. This plant has very tiny hair like roots that you can easly dround by over watering. As for the brown tips...trim them off.
