I was at a friends home this past weekend. She had a "tree" inside her home that we were trying to figure out the name of. I'm hoping you can help with the discription I give.

The base was round and narrowed as it went up the "leaves" were long green strips canscading down and curling like curling ribbon. If you could be of any help letting me know the name of it myself and another friend would like one.
