Hi all,

I have a Arrow bamboo that i plucked from some place. I have planted this in soil...but they leaves have all dried. Any idea if it would survive. It has roots.

How do i care for them?

Hello Rai

I have a bambo plant also and actually it's not even in soil. I keep mine in water with the roots covered in rocks or marbles depending on what's available. It thriving without the soil. Maybe you should try just keeping it in standing water, no soil!

This is where we desparately need to know what we are talking about! Pamela, yours is a "lucky bamboo" actually a Dracaena that has been treated in a particular way in the nursery. What Rai has, I just don't know, and she is not telling. Help us out, Rai.

I have a lucky bamboo that was doing extremely well in my office window (I moved therefore I no longer have a window). Now my beautiful plant is starting to die, the leave are turning yellow (could it be too much water) the plant does get light from my desk light but it's NOT sunlight. I transferred plant to a larger vase because it out grew the previous one.

I need some helppppppp

Thanks in advance

Tee, it is your plant that needs help. It is going downhill because it doesn't get enough energy from the light in your office. I should take it home and bring in a new one, then swap them off so that neither one has to be in poor light all the time. A set of three rotating would be even better than two. Derek
